About us
We hope that you find our site interesting and find out everything you want to know about our Co-operative and the services that we offer to our tenant members and other customers.
On our website you can find out more about applying for a home with Rosehill Housing Co-operative and about the services we offer to customers.
We aim to provide our tenant members and other customers with a good service; however, we appreciate that sometimes things can go wrong. Details of how to complain about our service are available from the complaints section of our website.
The Co-operative was originally set up in 1987 and was one of the original six pilot Fully Mutual Housing Co-operatives in Scotland. In January 1988 we took over ownership of 375 properties from the then Glasgow District Council
The Co-operative's Fully Mutual status means that all its tenants are members and as such have the right to vote, and stand for membership of the Management committee. The Management committee is entirely composed of tenants of the Co-operative who are responsible for the running of the Co-operative which involves the employment of professional staff, making policy decisions and ensuring that we fully meet all the regulatory and statutory guidance as laid down by the Scottish Housing Regulator.
We have built up an excellent reputation for:
- Providing high quality homes and services to our tenants
- Achieving high satisfaction levels amongst our tenants
- Obtaining the recognition of our external regulatory body by consistently being awarded the highest ratings possible.
